ABOUT US
The SEA Program (Safety, Emergency & Awareness) creates a new breed of coastal guardians. Not someone distant in a tower, but someone already part of the shoreline. A fisherman who knows the sea. A teenager who can perform CPR on a cousin. Children who learn to clear a beach before a storm.
What begins with surf culture in the Philippines is becoming a global safety culture. Born where typhoons, floods, and unpredictable rip currents are part of daily life, SEA trains communities to respect the ocean’s power and protect one another.
Our vision is a world where every shoreline has guardians trained from within their own communities.

OUR MISSION
The SEA Program exists to provide support, essential supplies, and lifesaving education to underserved coastal communities, empowering them with the skills and resilience needed to face the ocean’s challenges with strength and safety.
Our vision is to see coastal communities worldwide equipped with the knowledge and tools to protect themselves, turning vulnerability into resilience, and awareness into survival.
JayR Esquivel, world-ranking professional surf athlete and SEA Program ambassador, serves as head trainer and mentor, inspiring youth with ocean safety, surf skills, mental toughness, discipline and resilience to protect their communities and coastlines.
Surftown La Union is a cultural hub integrating surf lifestyle with community empowerment, partnering with SEA to mentor youth, promote resilience, and transform surf culture into a movement for safety and awareness and making it available to the world.
Isla Medical Foundation supports coastal health and safety, working alongside SEA to deliver medical expertise, first aid training, and community partnerships that strengthen resilience in disaster-prone shoreline communities.
The ocean will always test us. With SEA, the answer does not have to be fear. It can be readiness. It can be resilience. It can be life.
Join us in shaping the next breed of coastal guardians.
Your generosity does more than support a program. It gives hope. It tells a child standing on the shore that someone believes in their future. It tells a family that they will not face the storm alone.
We know you could have given your resources anywhere. But today, you chose to stand with us. For that, our gratitude runs deeper than words.
Please carry this truth with you: lives will be changed, and futures will be brighter, because of you.
